    Remembering Jeremy

    (Richard Bickers)

I'd like to do two things with this thread:

    1) Put all of the previous forum messages about Jeremy into a single thread as a kind of book of fond memories - which you are still free to add to at any time

    2) Ask for ideas on how best to rember Jeremy during the squash year such as a tournament in his name or nominating individuals, teams or clubs for a 'best contribution to Avon Squash' award. Please let us have your thoughts on that. We'll agree what to do at the AGM.

    Thanks,

      Richard.

It was a sad loss when Jeremy passed and not only did Bradley Stoke lose an enthusiastic captain but also a very dear friend, whose smile, enthusiasm and charism will be missed but never forgotton.

We at the club have been talking about having a tournament, played at BS, in Jeremy's honour so would put that down as a suggestion

This news of Jeremy's untimely death is a real shock. Everyone at the Weston Squash & Racketball Club offers their heartfelt condolences to his family and those close to him at this difficult time. Jeremy's unbridled enthusiasm and integrity in running the league structure for our collective benefit will be sorely missed.
