Appointment of Avon County Safeguarding Officer

    Dear County Member

Following the recent articles regarding roles that the Committee would like to fill we are delighted to be able announce that the initiative has borne fruit.

We have received an application for the role of the County Safeguarding Officer and are delighted to announce that Conall Platts, Lansdown, has been appointed to the role.

Conall is currently in this role at Lansdown and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Having met him, it is evident he has a huge amount of passion and enthusiasm for our sport and has a desire to do what he can to assist with the its overall development in our county.

No doubt over the coming weeks and months together we will be publishing a lot of content to do with Safe Squash and Squash57/Racketball.

He says: "I'm delighted to be taking up this role and I look forward to working with the county to make sure we do all we can to keep our squash and racketball community safe, engaged, supported and thriving.  Please don't hesitate to make contact - not just if there are concerns to report, but also with any ideas, suggestions, observations."

You may contact Conall at [email protected]

I am sure you would like to join me in welcoming him.  We wish him every success in this important role for the County.

    Regards

    Seamus Singh
