    Squashathon for Sports Relief

    Calling all BaD Squash Players

Can you spare 1 hour of your time and participate in an Avon Squshathon for Sports Relief?

    Friday 18th March 5pm until Saturday 19th March 5pm

Vivo Sports & Gym Club, Floating Harbour, Welsh Back, Bristol, BS1 4SB

Sports Relief has rolled around again this year, having last been held in 2014. We thought it would be a good idea to organise a 24 hour Squashathon to raise money as part of this Sport Relief this year.

Fancy playing ¾ quarter court with an odd number of people? Bring it on!

Would you prefer to play racquetball? Absolutely fine!

Wanna play in your pyjamas at 3am? We won’t tell!

Got an uncontrollable urge to do drills with a partner? Show everyone how its done!

Injured? Come and support a friend or watch the pros.

Loads of activities are being planned for the 24 hours including:

    • Pro Shoot Out
    • Junior Shoot Out
    • Beat the Pro
    • Fancy Dress Singles and Doubles
    • Coaching clinics
    • Come and try squash for the first time
    • Special themed time zones (details to follow)

Further details of activities planned will be published closer to the time.

    How it will work

All proceeds from sponsorship and court booking fees will be donated to Comic Relief as part of our participation in Sports Relief.

There will be 3 or 4 courts available but we need to get at least 1 court fully booked for 24 hours.

Open the booking spreadsheet and find an available slot (preferably Court 1, then 2 etc).

    • Add your name and names of your colleagues sharing the slot, please include contact details (either email or phone number)
    • You can book multiple slots if you like.

Each person on a court during a 1-hour slot will be asked to donate £5.

Join the Avon Squashathon Team, select the “I'm joining an existing fundraising team” and search for “Avon Squashathon” then share with your social network.

If you have any queries please contact either Seamus Singh at [email protected] or Richard King at [email protected]
