    Keeping up appearances

Team captains will know that there's a rule that kicks in around this time in the season that says a player can't play in the last two matches unless they've played in two or more previous matches in the same (half) season. The point of the rule is to stop teams bringing in 'ringers' to rescue them from relegation or help with promotion and Jeremy does look out for infringements.

To help captains manage this, I've added a new 'Player appearances' pull-down under 'Admin' which you can see as long as you're logged in as a club captain. This will give the number of appearances for each player in each team in your club so far, splitting between the first matches and the last two so it should make it easier to see who is eligible to play.

For a bit of extra spice I've also included the number of team points each player has won as that may also be a factor in choosing who plays in those last two critical matches!

Any questions or inaccuracies please let me know - [email protected]

Don't forget you can still check if your club has any infringements against it by using 'Run rule checks' also under 'Admin' or by setting your preferences for a daily email although it's a bit late by then...
