Return To Play Phase 2 Announced For 1st Sept

    Dear County Member

The following was officially announced by England Squash this afternoon:

We’re excited to announce that from 1 September, squash clubs and venues in England can allow players who form ‘Squash Bubbles’ to play full-court squash!

Yesterday, we received approval to move to Phase 2 of our return to play plan, which from next Tuesday allows up to six players to a bubble and get back on court.

In order for this to take place, there will still be social distancing in place, additional safety measures, and some minor changes to the game which you will need to familiarise yourself with. Your club COVID-19 Officer will need to take responsibility for the management of these bubbles, to keep everyone within your club as safe as possible.

Read the England Squash Bubble Guidelines for Clubs here and start getting your bubbles ready to play!

Further information, and updated full guidance will be published next week including:

    • Updates to guidelines for coaches
    • New guidance on coaching/hosting large groups of children/school groups
    • Updates to facility/environment management guidelines
